Welcome to rekabetli.com (the “Platform”). This Platform is owned and operated by ELT Technologies LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company incorporated in England and Wales under Company Number 17318502.

By accessing or using our Platform, you (“User,” “Student,” or “Mentor”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Nature of the Platform

rekabetli.com is an online educational marketplace that connects students (“Students”) with independent experts and mentors (“Mentors”) for academic guidance, consultancy, and educational support. ELT Technologies LTD acts strictly as an intermediary platform (agent) and is not a party to the independent agreements formed between Students and Mentors.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account.

3. Payment Flow & Intermediary Fees

  • All payments made by Students for mentorship sessions are processed securely via our third-party payment processor, Stripe.
  • The Platform charges a service fee (commission) from the gross transaction amount.
  • Payments are collected in the local currency of the user (e.g., TRY) and converted into the operational currency of the Platform where applicable.
  • The remaining balance after the Platform’s commission and third-party payment processing fees (“Net Revenue”) is held in the Platform’s corporate account until the payout date.

4. Mentor Payouts

  • Mentors accumulate earnings from verified package sales on the Platform.
  • Mentor earnings from a package sale become withdrawable 14 days after the confirmed first meeting. Payout cannot be requested before the first meeting is scheduled and confirmed.
  • Payouts are transferred to the Mentor’s verified bank account via our payment infrastructure partners.
  • Each payout request is subject to a standard bank transfer fee, deducted directly from the Mentor’s payout amount.

THERE IS NO EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN REKABETLI.COM AND MENTORS. MENTORS ARE INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDERS (FREELANCERS). ALL INCOME TAX, VAT, AND DECLARATION OBLIGATIONS ARISING UNDER THE LAWS OF THE REPUBLIC OF TÜRKİYE FROM INCOME EARNED THROUGH THE PLATFORM ARE ENTIRELY THE MENTOR’S OWN RESPONSIBILITY.

5. Prohibited Conduct & Direct Payments

Users are strictly prohibited from bypassing the Platform’s payment infrastructure. Suggesting, requesting, or accepting direct payments outside of rekabetli.com between Students and Mentors constitutes a material breach of these Terms and will result in the immediate termination of the user accounts involved.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
